Helen Kontozopoulos, University of Toronto

Helen’s role as Co-Director at the University of Toronto’s Department of Computer Science Innovation Lab – DCSIL is to foster creativity, innovation and commercialization. She Co-founded the lab in 2014 to support entrepreneurship, tech transfer and increase industry collaborations. Beyond the lab, Helen works with teams as a member of the Product Development Team of NERD (Neurotech Early Research & Development) at the Ontario Brains Institute.

She is a lecturer at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Computer Science (St.George campus) and Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (Scarborough Campus), where she teaches product development, management and design, design thinking, creativity and innovation, lean startup methodologies, entrepreneurship, user experience, Go-to-market strategy, and business model innovation.
